Family Vacation to Cali

We left on Sunday for California to see Nick sister and boyfriend and new baby! It was an interesting flight out to Cali :) Lets start with Saturday evening with Colin, we went out to eat with his family before we left and while @ the restaurant lets just say Colin was sick :( not puking ….. so we get up early on Sunday and head to the airport, everything was fine until about an hour to hour an half on plane and Colin is sick again but this time he has HORRIBLE diaper rash :( We land in Phoneix and he  seems to be better he ask for something to eat and drink and is talking a lot more ! we finally get to Cali and it was AMAZING to have nice weather :)


All together the trip was great! We went to the beach one day, the San Diego zoo and then hung out at the hotel and went swimming the next ! I was so sad to leave Kayla and Elizabeth but they will be back in about a month for Easter :) I can't wait to see them! Colin was so sweet with baby E! When she would cry he would pat her belly and say its okay don't cry!


The hardest part about coming back to Indy was the cold weather and snow ! I'm so over this crap!!!!!


Other news for the Johnson's :
We are building a new house and we found out Friday that our projected date to move in is the end of May/ middle of June!!! this is earlier than what we originally thought! Originally it was end of July beginning of August :) so I'm freaking out a little because we have so much to get done @ the house we are living in ! I have to start packing and throwing things away ! I am excited to do this so that I can be organized at the other house but its going to take so much work and with Nicks work schedule it will be interesting !

We have also decided to take Colin out of Primrose and start at a new school that is actually across the street from our house! This is the school he will attend until he is in the 4th grade! so that is awesome he will get a feel for what its like ! He will be on the same schedule as the other kids with having a fall break christmas etc. He is so excited to go because his friend Nash is a 2nd grader at the school ! He will start August 12th!

Nolan is growing like a weed! He had tubes put in his ears in January and is doing great with them! He is saying so many new words and just happy as can be ! I can't believe that he is already 16 months old :( where is the time going with my kids growing up! Before this vacation I wanted to try for baby #3 but after the vacation with flying and no sleep with Nolan, Nick and I decided we needed to wait until we are in the new house and the boys get a little older.
